My PalmPilot and my library

I've been using a PalmPilot for some 8 years so far. Been through several models. At one point, I had so much of my life on my Palm that when I was in roll-over accident in my truck, I wouldn't let them put me into the ambulance until one of the firemen got my Palm from the truck and put it into my hand.

One of my responsibilities at work (we sell & service RVs) is to make sure that brand-new RVs scheduled for delivery are ready to go. I keep track of the details in a database on my Palm. I designed the database myself, as there wasn't anything out there that fit my need.

And living in my own 28-foot travel trailer, I have no spac for books. At the same time, I'm an avid reader. So from time to time I visit Project Guternberg, download a few books and transfer them to my Palm. Much more comfortable than my laptop for reading in bed.

With a 512Mb memory card, I can store a lot of books.
