According to Swedish law, Kosher slaughtering is banned. Our laws concerning cruelty to animals takes precedence over religious freedom. Muslims have worked out a compromise, in that the animal is sufficiently stunned before the slitting of the throat.

I don't know how Jews manage, but I'd guess that they import meat from Denmark. Import isn't banned. There are companies importing Halal meat.
