So because it is recent it is possible? My point was that the ark has supposedly been found a few times in different locations, and none have even proven that it was a boat, let alone a boat built by a man named Noah.
I'm not really very familiar with the Gilgamesh fable, but doesn't it involve a boat as well? If so, how do we know that isn't the boat from that story and not Noah?
I too am curious to see this "other scientific data" supporting the Bible flood story.
