Jesus(pbuh) being the prominent Prophet of God didnot say anything new ,different or exciting, all the Prophets of God brought the same divine messege. Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) since was the last and the final messenger of God, this is why he mentioned many things about the situation before the day of judgment.

Jesus(pbuh) also predicted about a perticular time which was actually the time of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and he also said that a Messenger will come who will be the most beloved in the sight of God and he will be sent as a mercy for the entire mankind.

History testifies to the fact that no Prophet or Messenger came between the period of Prophet Jesus(pbuh) and Prophet Muhammad(pbuh),inspite there was a gap of around 5 or 6 centuries between them.

History testifies to the fact that the world situation at the birth time of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) was in a worse situation in the entire history of mankind. There was no concept of elected leader and kingdom prevealed in
many parts of the world especially in Rome ,Iran and other places.

Middle East the land of Arabs was also not lagging behind, slavery, adultery, lawlessness and other crimes were common. There was no concept of relations, a son could marry his step mother after the death of his father and a man could marry as many women he like.

In pre-Islamic Arabia, when a girl use to be born, the whole family use to morn since the birth of a female baby was considered as something as a disaster from there gods.
They use to take there small female babies and bury them alive in the land.
There was no social values and law established in Arab region and Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) who was sent as a mercy from God ligthened the land with the divine messege of God and removed the darkness of ignorance that prevailed in that region. And that same region become the foundation for the Science,Mathematics and astronomy.

There was many ridiculous concepts at that time in Arabia. In Pre-Islamic Arabia, if any person use to fall in illness,it was considered as a magic spell and even in 18th century in Europe ,the same concept was common.

Another very famous superstitious concept that was common in Arab was that if a person riding on a camel and if a camel turned left it was considered as if that person is going to face trouble and have a bad luck and vice versa if the camel turned right.

Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) explained the baselessness of these concepts which had no logic and enlightened them with the messege of true God.
