Well, now, you can see my problem then! If there are "any number of explanations," then it is quite impossible for them to "lead us in the right path, or teach us a lesson or moral of some kind."

You see, if there "has to be a reason for all these things...", but that reason is never made manifest, then there is nothing at all that can be learned from them except "there are things you're not supposed to know, get over it!" Hardly a lesson guaranteed to direct one's feet upon "the right path."

However, it does seem to provide a very lively living for the apologists. There's absolutely no end of work for them to do!

is GOD sovereign? If so, HE can do as HE pleases; if not, he isn't GOD.
