PVC Flutes
Has anyone ever heard of the Plumbers Flute? I've grown fascinated by these instruments and had to learn how to make them. They are actually very beautiful, and have a great sound. I started selling them about a couple weeks ago, and now I am selling them online, and in a few local new age stores in western Pa. If anyone is interested, you can check them out HERE.

What a fantastic idea !..I wish you continued success with them.
May I ask how long it takes you to make one ?...and there's no warping ?

One difference I can only think of, is that the flute on Mark sheps page that you are hearing is a transverse flute. With the transverse you have more diverse scale opportunities. Mine are native american style end blown flutes. And while they are much easier to play, and take hardly any breath, there are limits on the scale opportunities. It is still a beautiful flute, sounds the same, but for an accomplished flutist it wouldn't be sufficient. But for a beginner, and for someone who would love to just play for personal enjoyment rather than orchestras, it is a wonderful flute.

That's me....I do play piano, have messed around with clarinet and trumpet...but something as simple and portable as your flute which can be played anywhere is attractive to me....it's got to be worth it, just to try it out, who knows, perhaps I can calm my withered old soul , find some inner peace and get to sleep sometimes !!
