Zen and the Matrix

Anyone else notice the similarities between Zen and the Matrix movies. I'm listening to it as I post (for only about the millionth time...)

Quote:
Morpheus: If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain

Quote:
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream Neo? How would you know the difference between the dreamworld, and the realworld?
Quote:
Neo: But if you already know, how can I make a choice? The Oracle: Because you didn't come here to make a choice, you've already made it. You're here to try to understand why you made it.
Quote:
There is no spoon

Mystic will become famous soon enough
Absolutely the best line in the movie.

A new perspective of saying the same thing - "The spoon is all that there is!"

There is a very good website about the buddhist aspects in matrix:

You wouldn't, and considering the powerful seemingly reality of my latest dream, I wish I didn't wake up from it. Me and Claire, as we were in the Old days. It was realer than real, then damm it, I woke up and wrote down as much I as could whilst it was fresh. Dreams fade so quickly.
