To the God
Oh, the God let me know to what community you belong.
And what community you prefer to be called as of yours? To what religion you have given the authority to be true, And allowed to call all others heathens and ****ed? With what rituals and ceremonies you like to be pleased, And to avoid your wrath what must not be performed? On your land where I have to pray and where not, In what shape of temples or what type of mosques? What types of prayer leaders I have to follow, Many claim that only they are aware of right path? Are you God of divisions and not the God of all humans? Not the God of universe but God of pilgrimage lands? Do you prefer a group of humans over all the rest? And their ways or kind of worship you hold the best? |

I pray you
Oh my lord I pray you in my heart, sometimes silently and sometimes in my words. Have I to learn special words and special language? My lord, forgive me if it is so because it seems burdensome to me. I ask your favors very humbly, very sincerely, spontaneously as it comes to my mind, not observing the sacred manners or uttering sacred words; yet I hope you are equally mine as you can be to anyone else. None else is my lord, to none else I shall bow and from none else I shall beg, no matter you accept me as yours or not.

Thanks
Thanks to both of you for response and motivation. Is this the proper section of religious forums for my posts and you know that I believe in a non religious God? Would you and other friends be reading my posts? If you take interest then I would keep sending. Let me remind you that I would like to be questioned and criticised. Such criticism may be harsh or mild, it does not matter as I am not easily offendable.
The mighty groups are knocking loudly at the doors of heaven, fierce contest is going on to subdue one another, and we are too weak to face their furious bravos, so we are standing aside, waiting patiently for our turn to be considered. You are the God of universe and the God of humanity and we have faith in your mercy and benevolence. We do not reject their claims for being the first and only to enter your heaven, because it is upon you to decide but they do reject our hopes to be pardoned by you. Oh the God of mankind help us. |

Debate and discussion is good, and we all learn when conducted with civility and respect. You and your views are most welcome here. You may be tested and questioned, but you should not be provoked or demeaned. I assure you, that should that happen many will jump in to defend your privelege. But there's the rub. It is indeed a privelege, not a right, and we all must be respectful. So, my friend, post away. Let's see what treasures you bring to the forum! --Steve--

faith not religions
Friends, as per your advice I would continue here. Debate just for debate is not of any use if participants have not an inclination to learn. I am an ordinory farmer from Punjab, Pakistan; am not a scholar or philosopher. I have never been abroad and never discussed my faith with any one except on net. Thanks to net which provided me the opportunity.
I believe that there are good humans all over the world apparently having different religions but actually the same. A meeting can be called to name their religion. If I am allowed an entry, names of existing religions can also be considered but these are so hostile to each other and here lies the problem. be a human
Any human, anywhere, of any religion (or without any), of any race or language can be dearer, nearer to the God than you or I, so don’t hate or consider him/her inferior, if he/she isn’t apparently a bad human or a threat to humanity. If you do; you may annoy the God and if He is annoyed, why religion, why prayers?
I want to give here an example (just to explain). Once upon a time; an intellectual believer of the God was passing by a wood. He heard a voice and stopped to listen. A shepherd was saying. “Oh my God if I happened to find you; I would comb your hair, fetch best things from wood, and give air to my flute as long as it would please you,” and so on. That believer went to that shepherd and admonished him not to say like that because the God doesn’t need all that and that the God wouldn’t be present before him physically. The shepherd was much disappointed. When that believer was sleeping at night, he saw in his dream that the God was angry with him for having annoyed one of his lovers. Early in the morning he again went on same spot and waited for shepherd to come. When shepherd came, he asked to forgive him and that the God wanted him (shepherd) to proceed, what ever way he liked. The shepherd replied, “I am also aware of the fact but I was under an instant wave of emotions and you have indeed broken my heart.” Love humanity, love the God and if you love your traditions, customs and home land, don’t hate others. Bigotry of all sorts isn’t good. I believe that a true believer of the God does posses ability and has insight to have his first affiliation as a human. Please don’t mind and let me say that who so ever isn’t first of all a human, can not be a perfect believer. Hate those who deserve, they might be very close to you and love those who deserve even though they might not have any sort of relation to you. |
