I still want to be angry
I dedicate this poem to retrorich, Jaiket, Watcher, Galamount and Ian
I still want to be angry All those people who agree to shed blood I want to understand why they think killing makes us safer Sometimes I even wonder if I’m right about that But then I think I rather be sorry Than safe I simply don’t get it I want to be sad and angry Don’t they see the seeds of wrath And destruction Produce weeds? I want to ask God What is right What is wrong and why oh why Is there still killing Why are children dying For corporate greed? People manipulate others to think in hateful ways And I look deeper to make sense out of The senseless No one is thinking Or seeing My God What Are We Doing? Peace Mark
