To the membership: This thread has been created to allow a formal debate between Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, who will debate the following resolution:

"Resolved: The Flying Spaghetti Monster is more powerful than the Invisible Pink Unicorn."

Tweedle Dum will affirm and Tweedle Dee will oppose. There will be 3 rounds, statements limited to 2000 words, and a 2 day response limit. No grace time has been agreed to by the debaters, and therefore failure to post within the time limit will constitute a default.

Bleachers have been set up in this forum for members of the IF community to comment and cheer on their favourites. At the end of the debate, the challenger and responder would appreciate comments as to whether you were convinced by their arguments.

Let the battle begin.
