Close-Mindedness

I saw the following statement today.

Quote:
Close-mindedness is inherent in theists. This person went on to say it is more open-minded to believe in evolution

I know many theists who believe in evolution and study science. Is this kind of person more closed-minded than and atheist?

This is an example of an Ad Hominen attack. It does nothing to advance position of the person that made it.

It's just another example of drawing lines and expecting people to take a stand on either side. Everything has to be yes or no, black or white, plus or minus, on or off. Could this perhaps be an indication that we have allowed digital computers to rule our thoughts? In a digital computer, everything is either/or, with nothing in between.

I call it "the Balkanization of America."
