Utah coal mine cave in...6 trapped
Please spare a prayer, or at least a thought, for the miners trapped in Utah. (Yes, that should be COALmine...)

3 rescuers die
As if things in the Crandal Canyon Mine weren't bad enough, now 3 resuers have died in the "rescue" attempt. I seriously doubt any of the original miners are still alive (I will be very happy to be wrong, though!).
This is a terrible thing, I hope the company's mining practices weren't responsible for the tragedies...but somehow, I think they were. Pray for all. "Be seeing you..."

It is so frustrating, I can't believe that we have not found them yet and now this. I will not give up hope, unti they are found. All things are possible to God.l

172 Miners trapped in China
There is, apparently, little hope for these men. The mine has flooded. Some 5000 miners die each year in China. Pray for them.

Update on Utah
It appears that the rescue effort has been suspended due to the dangerous conditions. I imagine things are very hard for the families of the lost miners right now.

I am thinking that maybe we can all do something about these happenings: The spiritual approach is to go within ourselves and reassure for ourselves that we are free and that nothing can hold us back from being what and who we truly are.

I find it amazing and wonderful that the owner of the mine in Utah has been a very active part of the rescue operations. He has been in there digging himself, which leads me to believe that he really cares for his workers.
I didn't know about the mine in China. Praying for the miners and their families. |
