I'm not suggesting it's either/or. One hopefully likes and loves one's self and others as well-- I can walk and chew gum even though it's quite a challenge. But I'm not sure it necessary to love one's self as much as others or maybe even vice-verse. I can be very critical of myself at times and that's not all bad, but I may not necessarily be as critical of you for even doing the same thing, depending on the situation. I have six grandchildren, and believe me, I love them more than I do me.

Shalom,
Vern

Peace, Love, & Light

I think a part of us starts to like ourselves more when we can help others.

I still think that we have to like ourselves first cause if you can't do that your not really going to be good at helping others.
