What is the scariest change you have made in your life ?

Looking back was it a good change ?

Currently, for me it is giving my notice before finding another job.
My last day is this Friday.

I do have a part-time job, which I can ask for more hours from, and I am going to go on the sub list at some local schools starting the 14th. Still the unknown is scary. But I do think this is the right thing for me to be doing.

It is time i find work that is more nurturing in nature.

Changing my first Born's diaper (nappy UK) for the first time was REALLY scary and no mistake !!. .......brrrrrrrrrr...even now I shudder to think of it...brrrrr !!!

Seriously though, the scariest change I suppose that I can think of first of all is the same as yours...a career change....or in my case starting a new business...which I have now done for the third time....

Life is what you make it and I hope to make it a good one with the help of a new enterprise.

I've gone from owning two specialist audio visual stores to now designing bespoke rings (wedding, eternity, engagement etc) for engaged couples. All done in their own home , we then manufacture them and then they are delivered by me with a big smile !

It's really nice because I am dealing with people who are celebrating...YAYYYYYYY !!!

I left a 26-year relationship and a house that I had fully paid for when my ex-spouse threatened to murder my best friend.

I was out of there in just under two hours, along with my 14-year-old daughter and my Qat, and I never went back.

I lived in a rental house for a year, saving up a downpayment for a new home, all the while attending domestic violence counselling sessions and looking over my shoulder in fear of running into ex on the street.

But leaving was the best thing I ever did in my entire life and I would do it again tonight if necessary.

Wow, that is amazing, and so are you.

Thanks for the kind words, peace123. Some days I don't feel particularly brave, and other times I feel frustrated that things aren't going *precisely* as was expected. Then I remember, and the problems of the day fade by comparison.
