Happy Thanksgiving!

I don't know if someone has already started a thread for this, but I just wanted to wish our neighbours to the south a Happy Thanksgiving! Eat much, drive safe!

Thank you, Tigress. When does Canada celebrate Thanksgiving?

Hope everyone has a great Day!

You're quite welcome.--Canada celebrates Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October--the same day as Columbus Day. You can read about it here.

Redbird Thanksgiving for all!

Yep...uh...Happy Thanksgiving to all! Actually i rather like a painting called "the peaceable kingdom" that has a tiny section of it that looks a little like an early Thanksgiving...where people can have some time together and share their blessings together communing and getting along...

Our inter-faith council produced about 280 Thanksgiving baskets or dinners that are being shared in our community today. Of course that could be said to be just a weak gesture considering all the social ills that are prevalent in our society but is more probably than doing absolutely nothing I suppose.

It also is a family time and enjoying a fellowship with each other.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! Hope the turkey is tasty, the day full of gratitude and the visits with family and friends memorable.

A little late, but I hope everyone also had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Most of us had colds, but it was nice anyway.
