I wonder if the reason you toggle between 3 or more Religions is because none of them hold the truth ?
That is merely an open question and not a judgement btw Perhaps your personal relationship is all you need to find what you seek ? Perhaps you dont need a book or doctrine to show you ? Maybe if we just plain ask to be shown and then get on with expereincing our lives and let it happen ? Jesus didnt give a great deal of instruction - He told us to love all as ourselves and to follow his example - which appears to have been to forgive everyone regarless of there "error" Could this be all we need to do ? I dont recall him preaching out of a book - In the main he spoke in parables which had little in common with Religions and always seemed to be about Love and Unity These are just my thoughts and i hope they are helpfull |

It's not "self deception". It's called "being psychic" which I have been most of my life. I would go into my new-age beliefs on WHY I'm psychic, but that's for another thread.

I didn't post this thread to get your sarcasm, nor offensive comments about the topic at hand. I was asking for advice which you are not giving. If you have nothing to contribute, please do not post.

Maybe you could study several religions and wait awhile to commit to one. I think you will find that there are several interfaith organizations, i.e. UU and Unity, etc. There seems to be a trend to studying several religions, rather than commiting to one.

I have studied several religions, lots of religions. Doesn't seem to have helped me any though, except to increase my understanding.

I think increasing your understanding is important. But maybe one thing you could do rather than "toggling" which you seem to feel is like going between them and from one thing to another ...Is to just be by yourself awhile and go away from it... Take a "mental" or "Spiritual" vacation from the whole ball of wax... and let your mind relax and be like a tabula rasa... Maybe start a craft or project you don't normally do... something creative say in art or music. Then when you have been away from them awhile "reboot" your spiritual "computer" and see if that helps..makes things clearer and easier for you! I wouldn't recommend you starting any study on religion for awhile... - Art
