Summer Time

Here it is already mid-May, and summer is right around the corner. Do you have any plans? Vacations? Goals to reach? Tell us about your ideas for summer.

Personally, you already know that I am going to write a book, but I also am going to visit my dad in VA for 2 weeks. I have tons of weddings on my books to perform, and I plan on making the most of my last free summer with my kids. Next fall I plan on rejoining the fulltime workforce, hopefully in my field.

If you are going to learn to drive, I suggest learning in an automatic, rather than one with a standard transmission. They are much easier to learn in. My dad forced me to learn to drive a standard, but now most cars are automatic.

Congrats on becoming an aunt. And congrats to your sister too. I bet your niece is a cutie.

Learning to swim can be tricky, but I bet you can do it. Just remember two concepts: try, try, again, even if you fail, and practice makes perfect. Oh, and another one, success is 50% and 50% refusal to give up.

Have fun with the baby this summer, and good luck on final exams. They can be tricky.
