Lammas
Today (Aug 1) is Lammas Tide-is it recognised in any churches?
I remember a ref to it in Romeo and Juliet when I was teaching it. Lammas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Anyway, happy Lammas Day!

Many Pagan religions celebrate Lammas, since it is closely tied to the cycles of the earth and life and death. It is one of the Sabbats in Wicca.
