Now What? More Work.

Now that you have written and read your letter, you may feel better about the burden or incompleteness of that one relationship/loss. However, it may have occured to you that more than one loss was incomplete as you went through your loss timeline.

Take a minute and list any other relationships that you feel may still be incomplete. As those reach out to you in terms of importance, do the activities previously assigned to complete those.

Beyond that, there is more work to be done. After gaining a new perspective inside ourselves, we need to look at changes to be made on the outside. Some of that involves reminders of the loss. Try not to do these things alone, but do take action.

Many things that may need to be done, depending on the loss are:
Disposal of old clothing-make 3 piles (keep, dispose, not sure)
Open a new account at the bank in your name instead of removing
a loved one's name off the old.
Recognize and deal with anniversary dates-you don't have to handle
those alone!
Deal with celebrity deaths- write a letter, you need not do the
relationship graph since they are one way relationships
Try to fold these attitudes and activities into your everyday life, share
them with others, listen to others.
Don't treat it as a recovery race, take your time and internalize these
things and tasks.

Most of all, Peace!
