Prevention.....
.....Rather Than Healing.
This is relating to the physical body, and not to the 'psyche', etc.(though an healthy diet, and plenty of excercise may help there also.)
The American diet of fast-food, prepared, 'vitamin' enhanced, pre-packaged, chemically laden, fatty, etc., is a national disaster. The human body is a living organism, and must be fed accordingly. The conversion of 'dead' (cooked) foods into living tissue is an extremely difficult process, and where is it found in nature? (pets and human fed animals not included-they eat what we feed them, and suffer a lot of our maladies.)
You must know a vegetarian in your neighborhood, and though I do not support the head-trip so many of them espouse, the real ones are almost always physically very healthy. Several I know are in their 80's and very robust in health and vigor. I eat approx 70% raw food and am very healthy, energetic, etc, breathing the same air, drinking tap water all my life till now, at near 65. Couple these nutritional practices with ample fun, (exercise) then an enormous amount of medicine use, and hospital visits can be eliminated from our society.
This is not 'fun' to write about, but I feel necessary, for even if only a few see the value, and do the homework to see what I am saying is not an opinion, but just good health practice, then I can rest easier than knowing and not 'spreading the word!'
