Most definitely! I am not a big fan of pharmaceuticals - especially since they tend to treat symptoms rather then address what belies the symptom. I lie essential oils, Bach flower remedies, alternative healing modalities such as Zimbaté, polarity therapy, color and sound, and herbs, and stones - as well as massage. I personally have not experienced acupuncture, but witnessed it with my dog and was amazed at its results! All of these I have used or seen used with animals and seen amazing results! --- the Beauty of this is, with the animals you do not see a placebo effect- it works or does not work!

I use herbs and homeopathic medicines, or as my kids refer to them "balls of sugar".
I prefer herbs to the chemically manufactured alternatives. I find them to be more gentle and have less side effects. I also think light therapy and aromatherapy are wonderful alternatives.
