Coffee

After much bad press for years about coffee having all kinds adverse effects, a new scientic view is emerging which is telling us that coffee can actually protect against certain forms of cancer. I read that from research done in Sweden, that for smokers, drinking coffee is a good thing, as many of the chemicals in coffee neutralise the harnful agents in ciggerette smoke. Coffee is also pretty good for thinking process, in moderation, you have to find your own level of tolerance. I can get through about ten cups a day, but it's instant with milk and sugar. If I'm in a cafe, I like cappuccino though

As I'm partial to a cup of columbian, and a smoke, that's good news for me at least.

I think that if things are done in moderation, it should be OK, I actually probably drink to much coffee. I one tried to stop taking in caffeine, but felt so ill, that I had to take it up again. It only took one cup for the headaches to diminish, two later and felt as normal. My body just can't cope without nicotine and caffeine, well you can't give up all your vices.

Love that coffee! Ian, I have to date given up drugs, alchohol, tobacco, meat, and even negative thinking, but I'm keeping the coffee. As a matter of fact, I have quit doing so many things that now when I get a craving, I have absolutely no idea what for.

Peace,

Mark

Well, you know I'm too weak to give anything up I enjoy. I have had to moderate my diet because of a stomach ulcer, but that's as far as I've gone.

You know how good columbian coffee tastes, oneof life's great pleasures, smell that aroma

Oh yes, columbian is very good, I love a good french roast as well. I was thinking about how coffee can keep cancer at bay, and it occurs to me that if we drink enough, we will all live long, jittery lives
