I have entered into periods where I was really depressed. Rock bottom depressed.
I talked about the left frontal lobe in my report I just did. Meditation redirects energy from the parts of your brain that deal with depression, sadness, etc, and flows it into others. personally, I know for a fact that meditation lifts depression |

Watcher is correct, meditation does wonders with depression. I also feel exercise, especially a disciplined but fun exercise. One that really makes you work, really does astonishing things with depression.

Exercise is good. Diet is important, I used to eat lots of bannana's when I've been down. They did help. Most of all though, I think freedom from financial problems, a loving relationship and having a sense of purpose and self worth are the ideals for a healthy life.
