As for me being a women and all... I like to wear perfume. I guess it is the feel of the morning that helps me make a descision as to what to wear. I like vanilla but mostly in the winter it reminds me of cookies and baking.I also like the scent of roses, if it is not overpowering. I wear a perfume called Innis, a Rose, from Ireland. In the fall I like to wear more heady fragrances like musk and hints of orange mixed with a dusky scent. In summer I like ginger and lite citrus, or banna or melon. So I think aroma therapy is a viable practice. Once while entering church at the end of another mass, a young child passed me and said " Ooh I smell pancakes, can we go to the diner?" I was at that moment walking past them and I was wearing vanilla perfume. It was the subliminal power of my perfume's suggestion, that inspired her to desire pancakes. Oh think of the possibilities!

Oh that's right, sorry...it's been done.
Certain fragrances uplift me. I just finished cleaning the car and I put essence of lemon oil near the air conditioning vents and it smelled lovely. Just what I need for the Monday morning commute tomorrow. I also put this same essence on the door post and the banister in the hallway. Sometimes in the heat of summer, the hall gets a musty smell, so I decided I would prefer to smell lemons upon decending the stairs in the morning.
Certain scents evoke pleasant memories, so I guess aroma therapy works. It works for me!
