Louise Hay
Louise Hay is a metaphysical lecturer and teacher, and the bestselling author of 18 books, including Heal your body and Empowering Women. Since beginning her career as a Science of Mind minister in 1981, she has assisted thousands of people in discovering and using the full potential of their own creative powers for personal growth and self-healing. Louise's works have been translated into 25 different languages in 33 countries throughout the world.
I came accross a book by Louise Hay many, many years ago. I used her ideas to raise my kids without medication and improve the well being of all family members. In her Book Heal Your Body Louise describes her own healing experience of overcoming cancer. She has in the back of her book an index of many common Illnesse and makes suggestions to their mental cause and offers a metaphysical approach to over come them. I think this book offers a very helpful insight for those that are experiencing illness and disease. This book does not heal anyone, but it awakens within us the ability to contribute to our own healing process. Example: Problem: High Blood Pressure Probable Cause: Longstanding emotional problems not solved New thought pattern: I joyously release the past. I am at peace.

I love Louise Hay's books because of the power that comes through them. I think EFT is really interesting also. LK, do you use EFT on others or only on yourself? How long does it take to get "good at it"? (Did you order the DVD's or just go from the manual?) |

What I have found after using Louise Hay's books for years, is that all mental causes that were creating illness and disease in our body could be summed up into emotions (guilt, shame, anger, resentment and fear). Louise Hay writes in her book: You can heal your body that in every consultations she addresses the same issue: not enough self love.
I stoped using her book after awhile becasue I felt that through her teachings I had moved onto a more simple way: Love your Self and treat others as you would want to be treated.

I worked with one lady who had a lifetime fear of driving over mountain passes, overpasses and bridges. I asked her some questions and found that this started in her childhood. She used to crouch on the floor of the backseat when her dad was driving. It seems he looked around a lot and didn't keep his eyes on the road. I had her focus on one of those crouching incidents and we tapped on that. After neutralizing the negative emotions, I filled the empty space with positives, reassuring her that she was an adult now and that was then. She maintains that she has no fear anymore of bridges or passes.
