To understand this religion one has to come out of narrow mind set associated with narrow religious beliefs.

The first teaching of Hinduism is - "God is one. Different people perceives Him and pray to reach Him in different ways". One has to be very-very clear on this principle before going further in understanding Hinduism.

The label of "Hindu" was given to the residents of the sub-continent by Arabs who came to India and they had trade links with India and China in the past.

The most authentic religious book in Hinduism is "Vedas" which is mostly and generally not known by Hindus, they think that only geeta, ramayan are the authentic sources of hinduism.

Arabs and Muslims brought a revolution in the sub-continent, before Arabs and Muslims, sub-continent was ruled by a cruel King named "Raja Dahir" who dominated the province of Sindh but had influence in the other parts of sub-continent.

Their was no rule or law in India, a powerful king use to take over the territories of weak kings and the cast system was prevalient. Shudas,Berhamans and other casts in Hindus had their own views regarding other casts.

The people belonging to the inferior cast was not even allowed to come close to Berhamans inspite of having good qualities and being a good human being.
the hindus belonging to inferior cast were considered dirty and unclean. People belonging to other cast never use to marry their daugthers to any male in the inferior cast.

There was no law or system in the State ,neither any economic or social law existed in the sub-continent.

Once when a ship from Iraq loaded with women and children were travelling to Cyprus(Sri Lanka) ,it stopped on Debal(the ancient port city of Sindh),
the pirates of Sindh captured that ship and kidnapped the women and children.

When Hajaj Bin Yousif the Governor of Iraq came to know this, he sent a messenger to Raja Dahir requesting him to release the women and children and punish those pirates but Raja Dahir assassinated that messenger.

Hajaj Bin Yousif sent another messenger but even he was killed.

When Hajaj Bin Yousif came to know this,he arranged an army under a young commander who was only 17 years old named "Mohammad Bin Qasim" and ordered it to travel to Sub-continent and rescue the women and children.

This young 17 year old commander entered Sindh Province through sea router with his army and history testifies to the fact that there battle with the army of Raja Dahir was so tremendous that Mohammed Bin Qasim conquered the whole Sindh Province and marched till Multan.

Raja Dahir was killed and Mohammad Bin Qasim established such a beautiful Law and System in the sub-continent that the rights and properties of every individuals whether muslim or non-muslim were secure and laws were setup by this young muslim commander.
Those who claim that muslims used sword to spread Islam should be asked that how come those hindus still exist in India even after the conquest of India by Mohammad Bin Qasim? Hindus are still the largest population in India?

History testifies to the fact that when Mohammad Bin Qasim was on his deathbed, his hindu servants and hindu public were crying over his death and after his death ,they even made his statues and use to worship it.

Muslims have greatly contributed not only to the laws and order of the sub-continent but also to the beautification, architecture and morals of this region.
