Truth about Islam
Islam an Arabic word which is derived from a root word called "Salam" which means "peace" and it is generally defined as "peace acquired by submitting once will to the will of Allah(swt)".
In other words Islam means surrendering once will and desires to Al-Mighty the One who has created mankind. From the time of Adam(pbuh) till Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) all the Messengers and Prophets brought the same messege which is to believe in One True God who is non other than "Allah" and to submit there will to Him. Unfortunately as the time passed , the words of God were amended and changed and the people on whom the divine messege was revealed accepted those parts that they considered worthy and useful and rejected other commandments that they found to be against there desires. Islam, the religion which is targetted the most during this information age by the media and Qur'an which is the primary source of Islam is a witness over all other revelations that were revealed before it. Some people have misunderstanding that Islam is a new religion and Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) was the founder of Islam. Islam is not a new religion revealed 1400 years ago but it existed since time immemorial. Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) was not the founder of Islam but the last and the final Messenger who closed the chain of revelation that was coming to earth since the time of Adam(pbuh). Anything that has a beginning has an end. If an author writes a book ,he will not continue to write it ,a time will come when he has to end the chapters of his book. Similarly God sent a Prophet named "Muhammad(pbuh)" who had to complete the chain of revelations. Islam is the only religion in the world today that kept the concept of "monotheism" alive which was preached by all the Prophets and Messengers who came before Prophet Muhammad(pbuh). the primary and fundamental belief in Islam is that there is no God but One true God that is "Allah" and this is what even Adam(pbuh) preached during his time and all the Prophets and Messengers did the same after him. One of the greatest evidence which proves that Islam existed even before Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is the perticular verse of Qur'an which says: 2:136 Say: "We believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon us, and that which has been bestowed upon Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and ,their descendants, [111] and that which has been vouchsafed to Moses and Jesus; and that which has been vouchsafed to all the [other] prophets by their Sustainer: we make no distinction between any of them. [112] And it is unto Him that we surrender ourselves." From the above verse of Qur'an ,it is clear that Islam is not only a religion for the people who existed during the life time of Prophet Muhammad or who came after him but it was also a religion for the people who existed during the lifetime of the Prophets mentioned in this verse. |

other meaning of this verse is that Muslims accept and believe in all the
Prophets and Messengers and non of the Prophet or Messenger is above the other. In Islam ,if a person rejects any one of the Prophet or Messenger ,than he or she is out of the fold of Islam. |
