similarities between Islam and Juadism
If a comparison is drawn between Christianity,Islam and Judaism, then Judaism is found to be more closer to Islam than Christianity.
Jews and Muslims both believe in 1 true God(monotheism) Both believe in Moses(pbuh) and also believe that he recieved revelation from God in the mount of Sinai in Egypt. Muslims believe that he was the only Prophet who directly communicated with Al-Mighty God and was the one who rescued the children of Isreal(Bani-Isreal) from the hand of Pharoah in Egypt who kept them as slaves. Qur'an mentions the entire story of Moses and Pharoh. Both believe in Day of Judgment. Both believe that each and every individual is responsible for his or her sins. |

Questions
Hi,
I have few questions: 1/ What is exactly traditional Judaism? Is there a "modern Judaism"? What are the main differences? 2/ While reading the posts, I noticed that some of the members write G-d not God. Why? Is it related to religion? 3/ Is it possible for woman to be a religious leader in Judaism? 4/ Do Jewish recognize Mohamed as a prophet of God? Thanks in advance ![]() |
