The original question was...should I bother following and praying to the Egyptian Gods? Or should I just continue with Greek/Norse? Has anyone ever studied a pantheon early on and then moved on, only to find they were still being called back to their old Gods?

What makes you feel that my questions are geared toward ridicule? They are not. They are geared towards curiosity. I've never known anyone that has been able to communicate with gods. I'm curious about how it is done, I'm curious about what they say, and I'm curious about how you know it is gods you're talking to. Is there something horribly wrong with me being curious about your faith? Is this some kind of forbidden religion or something? You may even be able to convert me and I think that would please your gods. You do want to please them don't you?

I don't know anything about your gods. So, I can't pick any favorites but since you know they all exist why don't you worship them all? Another thing you can do is ask yourself,"Which gods are worthy of my worship?"

My Gods don't want me to convert anyone, they seek those they want to worship them on their own.

The Greek Gods have answered my prayers before. So, maybe they're the answer. I don't really feel any sort of link to the Egyptian Gods.

Oh, I get it! They choose followers instead of people choosing to follow?

Well, I think this is kind of interesting. If you can't share anything personal about your gods then could you tell me of not so personal things? Like why do you feel like you have to choose which ones to worship? Are you only allowed one set of gods? Can you share some names and attributes? Why don't you feel any sort of link to the Egyptian gods? Anything Egyptian is cool! Aren't Egyptian gods older? I would like to know more about your gods. I guess I could look up things about them online but that won't be the same because the information would be written by nonbelievers and therefore biased.

My understanding of polytheism is that most people see it that if you follow a pantheon, you should be loyal to that pantheon and only that one. I'm not sure why. The Gods appreciate loyalty too.

Most of my information I've obtained is the ONLY information available, and most of it written by "nonbelievers". For the Greeks, it was Homer. For the Norse...I don't remember who it was. He wrote the Norse lore down, and he was a Christian. When it comes to the lore, it doesn't really matter if you believe it or not, as long as it's accurate.
