Wicca Called back to an old faith

Hey guys. When I first became Pagan I used to study and follow the Egyptian Gods. Though I feel ridiculous praying to Gods with animal heads at times, they called to me last night for the first time in over two years. It was the first pantheon that I stumbled across and studied. Then I found the Hellenic, Norse pantheons. Though the Norse pantheon also calls to me (I'm like 90% Norse...so no doubt it's my blood) I feel the pantheon to be outdated, and many of the practices of Asatru to be obsolete. (like ritual drinking, for example). I suppose Kemeticism feels about the same way, outdated, and mostly unknown to me. What I've found on websites hasn't been much of a help, I've been looking for lore and rituals.

I'm going to search for an Asatru kindred around my area somewhere. Maybe it would help to find others in the faith as well.

I didn't choose my Gods, they chose me. But who ever heard of someone following THREE pantheons? Arg!

Talking

Lol thanks.

I've hit up Witchvox.com and checked for Kindreds in my area. There aren't even any in my state.

The Egyptian Gods are strange to me, I'm not sure why I feel attracted to them, nor why I did in the first place. Sometimes I feel that I should just forget everything and just follow my Greek Gods. After all, they have answered my prayers and happily attend my rituals.

I might bow down to the Greek Gods, but then I have Odin and Freyja in my other ear going "You should follow us...you are one of us..."
ARG!!

Anyways, yeah.

Who are these Egyptian gods? What do gods do when no one is worshipping them?

Wicca

You don't know Set, Isis, Ra, or Osiris, to list a few?

Those who worship them say that the Norse Gods demand that one only worships them. I think that idea may be correct, and likewise those that follow the Greek Gods say the same thing.

Why can't one be a polytheist and follow two pantheons?

You lucky bastard! I can't even get one god to talk to me. How do you do it? Next time you talk to them tell them to hit me up. Do they have my phone number?

Wicca

But, yes, I followed the Greek/Norse Gods for a while, mostly following the Greek Gods. But as of late, the Greek Gods feel distant to me, and the Norse lore is awesome to read...

Why is it so hard to find a pantheon to follow? If I had to choose one now, I'd say Greek in a heartbeat.

Hmm.

Thumbs down

I'm not going to answer your questions, as I feel they are geared toward ridicule. And what my Gods tell me is between me and my Gods.
