Woo hoo!
*steps up to stage

What country, area of the US or city do you live in?
I live in the vicinity of Los Angeles, California, USA

Were you born where you live?
Actually quite near. My new location where I work is fairly close to my birth city! Guess it's the circle of life.
If not, why do you live where you do?
I live here because I was raised in the near by cities. I lived in a smaller city for the last 10 years with my God mother. When she passed away I had to move. I wanted to move somewhere close to my job and my mother. I also purposely picked a city I was familiar with. I wanted some sense of home after losing my home. I also wanted to live in a predominately Hispanic community. I love the food, the Mexican markets (which are different than other markets!) and the people.

What do you like and dislike about where you live?
That's hard. I would say the crime, though I have never been a victim of it.

Are you are married? Single? Do you have children?
Single and ready to mingle! I had a long term relationship from 19-25 with a woman. Guess what? I am not gay! It was merely the process of me running away from something. Then into a relationship with a guy for a year or two. And since about 27 I have been single. I do not plan to marry or even get into a relationship. And I don't like kids so none for me!

3. Do you have any pets? What kinds?
As a kid too many too count! Mostly cats. But I had a German Shepard named Gabriella. I loved her so much. Enough so that I have a tattoo of a devil girl pinup that I call Gabriella. I know it seems like where is the connection, but she was my girl. And I love her.

What are your hobbies and/or interests?
Interests: Religion, Renaissance religious art, writing, eating!, movies, music and music concerts is a major part of my life. I love industrial music. Top 3, Nine Inch Nails, Tool and Marilyn Manson. Tattoos are a big part too. Both arms are sleeved. I dabble in the occult too.

Hobbies:
Writing is number one. I write every single day and don't feel complete unless I do so! I crochet, needlepoint in the past, make arts and crafts for fun. Going to concerts is a hobby. Learning symbols in art is a big thing. Photography. And I love just going out to museums, arts galleries, outdoor parks and lakes and gardens. Anything I haven't done is always interesting. I have a list of things I want to do.

What do you do to relax?
I don't drink or partake of drugs, so it's got to be sex!
I also like to listen to music to sleep. To relax my brain I play puzzle games on line.

What kind of work do you do?
I am a full time assistant manager for Torrid. We sell fashionable clothes for larger women.

Do you like where you work?
Yes! Technically besides some daily tasks, I dress women up all day. It's like playing Barbie doll. I love to see women try my fashion ideas on. It's hard for heavier women to find clothes. It is a very emotional thing for us to shop. I like making women feel beautiful and confident. It's more than clothes, it's a way of life. We have Torrid fans all over the country. It's like being a rock star!
Do you have plans for making a job change?
Not yet. I have been with Hot Topic (that's the company and Torrid a division of it) for 6 years now. I hope to get into our headquarters though and start in at the bottom. I would like to get into merchandising and fashion there.

What is your favorite kind of music?
It has to be smart, have substance and move me in some emotional capacity. Nine Inch Nails moves me on a private emotional level. Tool pushes me to think beyond this human skin. And Manson always falls in line with my love of Nietzsche and the elitism of Satanic principals. (but.....I do own every N' Snyc cd too!) I worked in a music store for 6 years so I have a wide variety of musical likes from rap to honky tonk

Who is your favorite musical artist?
Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. I love his integrity. His need to never sell out as an artist. His harsh and honest lyrics. And the man is just a friggin computer genius. I truly would love to run around in his brain!

Do you play any musical instruments? If so, what do you play? How well?
Nope. Just singing since I was about 5. Not great. But I have fun trying!
Though taking music classes I can read music and play it on the piano, again not very well but I enjoy it.

Would you rather read a book or watch a movie?
Hmmm, I watch more movies then books, but I have zillions of books. They are all packed away in my closet. Maybe about over a hundred. I love books. Reading since I was a kid. My mother and father really pushed me on books and I loved every minute of it.

What was the last book you read?
I am currently reading In the Devil's Snare. A research book on the Salem Witch Trials. Before that a book on symbols in art.

What was the last movie you saw?
Silent Hill on dvd. If I can get through it. I am scruuuured.

Are you an ordained minister? If so, how long have you been ordained?
Nope. I am a Satanic Witch though. Went through the rituals and ceremony for that years ago.

What is your religion or spiritual path?
Laveyan Symbolic Satanist. Which means I am Atheist and view Satan as a symbol for human perfection on how to live this human life.

Are there any sports that you like to watch or participate in? What are they?
Normally I don't like sports. I like to watch Olympics and Ice Skating! And baseball but only in person. I love going to see the Angels or the Dodgers. I love the outdoor experience.

What is your level of participation? Favorite teams or performers? Any sports you used to participate in but don't anymore?
I watch. No teams. I used to play volleyball.

What do you see yourself doing in 5 years? 10 years?
When I was younger I thought I would kill myself by 30. Now I am turning 35 this Friday. I consider this all free time for me. I have a hard time seeing that far into the future. I have severe bi polar and time lines are hard to deal with. I look forward a week at the most. I plan on being alive. And happy. What more could I ask for?

That is a really good start.

If you could live anywhere else in the country besides where you are living, where would it be? (In general, if necessary...mountains, plains, etc)

I was curious, Geshtinnanna, were you into the Rennaisance Faire? Your personality sounds like someone my wife would have known in her younger days as well and she used to be a regular there.

I was sent to New York to run a store out there in Long Island for a whole month. I had such a great time. There is such diversity there. So I think I'd pick Live in Long Island (pretending I won the lottery of course!) and spend my days off in New York!

Oddly never wanted to go. When they are here it's in the hottest part of the summer. Everyone I know complains. And me in one of those long dresses? Helllllllll no. Or maybe for an hour.

My wife had a similar philosophy, but she called it "Eveism". Her point was that it was Eve's goal to pursue wisdom over ignorance and she gave that gift to man. Certain Gnostic texts also depict the Genesis god as the demiurge who attempts to conceal humanities true spiritual nature from them and mistakenly believes he is the creator god.

On Satan, I've heard some describe him as a tragic hero who attempts to give humanity knowledge and is punished for it, more along the lines of Prometheus. Does your symbolism of living this human reflect this desire for knowledge more or is it more in embracing hedonistic lifestyles, or a combo of each, or something completely different?

Most definitely a combination. People always pair hedonistic attributes with Satanism. But they forget the back end of that. Personal responsibility. I want to live the pleasures of this life. But I must also take any and all consequences. What I take from viewing Satan as a symbol is what I want to have. I want to be my own God. Be my own salvation. I want to make a decision based on my needs and goals etc. I don't want to base my movements on a God I don't believe in. I want knowledge without feeling guilt for questioning. I want to say look at this. What do you think of it. And I want that answer to come purely from me and not a religion that is put upon me. I want freedom and am willing to take the pleasures that come with it and the responsibility too. I do not believe in guilt, sin or evil. I believe I make (and if we were all honest, you'd make them too) decisions based on my personal outcome of it. If I want to be merciful to one and not to another, I should do so with competence.

The new and healthier me. I have taken what was ruined, damaged and broken and have made me into something I respect. But if you mean as in actually made? When I cook for someone and they ask for seconds, well that makes me very happy.

I could make some list that would reflect honest answers. But truth is I am not looking for any relationship at the moment. I am unable to love or even connect with people in a healthy way. Because of the situation of my childhood, I have a very difficult time making any real connections with people. I do not love anyone or even care truthfully for anyone other than my mother. I don't have connections with people. I don't even allow people to touch me in the most basic ways. Let's chalk it up to a very disoriented childhood that had my formative years of life very isolated. If you want to know more in detail, please feel free to ask. I am open with my childhood now, since I understand I had no control and cannot be blamed.
