Giving Offerings

We do a great many things that we can be thankful for. So it is only fitting and right that we make offerings as we go through our day to day lives. This is especially true when it comes to procuring food, because we are thankful to that which has given of itself that we may be strengthened.

What can be given as an offering? This is extremely varied, and depends a lot on what you are giving an offering for. But a simple offering can be a sprinkling of tobacco. We aren't talking about cigarettes, but the tobacco itself. Tobacco was used in many NA rituals and is thought of as a special plant.

For major offerings, the offering should be something that means something to you, just as you would do if you wanted to give something to another person who has done some very special deed in your behalf.
