Yet another FNG here
Hi, everyone. First off, excuse my capitalization errors-- lousy public-access keyboards, what with their broken shift buttons...
My name is Lamoni, and I'm here mainly because I'm slowly on my way to becoming an Interfaith chaplain-- hospital work, hopefully. I say "slowly," because I live in the middle of Utah, where there's such a huge number of Mormons that other religions and especially interfaith work is almost swept under the rug. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the Mormon church, but it's sure making my progress difficult. The closest Clinical Pastoral Education center I'll have to go to is some 30, 40 miles away, and being a full-time college student, I might not have the time necessary to get going... *sigh* Ah, well. Just wanted to introduce myself. |
