We actually begin school today; it's 6:38 am right now. Only the teachers are going for a week, then the students begin on the 4th August...

Lightkeeper: I teach English Language and Literature at O level standard to the final year students. They are all Pakistani , so it's basically kind of ESL.

I also teach Pakistan Studies geography to those appearing in Class X (15 year olds).

So the ages of my students are 15 - 16 readying them for A level.

I was unemployed in UK in 1980 having finished a B Ed course. I decided to go abroad and taught in Sudan for 2 years. After that, Pakistan was a logical next step and a slight advancement in my career.
