Namaste

Greetings everyone. I am a Hindu from Maryland USA now living in Pennsylvania USA. I am married with two children both grown, but only one out of the house so far. I was raised Christian and over the years studied and/or became involved with Wicca, Buddhism, Taoism, Tantra, finally settling in to the traditional Advaita Vedanta school of Hinduism. I feel like I have found my "home" in that tradition, but enjoy conversing with people of all faiths and traditions as well as people purely of a philosophical bent. I look forward to joining the discussions in the days and weeks to come.

Welcome, Chaitanyananda! Looking forward to hearing more about Advaita. I've encountered it on the Internet several times in the past year, and am particularly interested in how it would be practiced in daily life.

Hi C! and welcome to our merry band. A new view is always welcome. I am really looking forward to learning about your beliefs, since Hinduism is very confusing to me.

I would be happy to share my views, as it is the first spiritual system that began to eliminate my confusion!

If you would like to, we have a member hot seat, and you can sign up and talk about your beliefs and allow us to ask questions to further understanding. Just pm me and I'll get you started.

That would be great. My wife is leaving in a week for 6 weeks to be with her brother for a surgery. I need to spend most of my time helping her get ready to leave, but ill have plenty of extra time to post, etc. after she's left, so I'll PM you then. Sounds like fun.
