Hello Friends! I am a devout Panentheist and i know that i cant really be alone in my beliefs, but it is almost impossible to find any religion or even many groups that are Panentheist. You can find some that are Pantheist but its not quiet the same thing.
For those of you who might not know, a Panentheist believes that all the Universe and everything in it is contained in and created OF the "substance" that is the Divine. Therefore everything in the Universe is part of the Divine. But that the Divine is greater than just the sum of ITs parts. Just as you are created out of individual cells, each working as best they can to create a healthy and better you, yet you are more than just the sum of your cells, so it is with the Divine. We are all part of the Divine, when we work together for the good of the whole, we impact positively on the Divine as a whole. When we fight and war and create negativity, we do harm to the Divine, like a cancer.
To me, the idea that nothing exists apart from the Divine makes perfect sense. I was just wondering if anyone had heard of any groups or anything on the subject of Panentheism. If you want to know more about the subject, a decent site is http://www.panentheism.com/

Hi Gavriel,

I very much like this belief system and want to learn more about it myself. Why don't we find a way to get a group started here. If you have any friends or acquaintances who are panentheists let's bring them here. I will start up a panentheism forum under earth based religions and maybe you can help by adding some threads to it. Let's get this rollllllling.

Also, I think if you post on the rest of the forum you will find others with your beliefs, but they don't necessarily think of themselves as Panentheist.
