I’ve been doing past life regressions and past life therapy since 1977.
I don’t believe in reincarnation /past lives. I know it for a fact. Big difference between believing and knowing.
No, I can’t prove it to the minds of most Western Christian cultures, and I wouldn’t try too. Nor can they disprove it. People who don’t accept reincarnation as true are a very small percent of the earth’s population.
And it doesn’t matter if one believes in reincarnation or not, they are going to reincarnate no matter what their believe is.

A soul (Let’s call that inner undying infinite “thing” that occupies bodies a soul for simplicity) can experience many hundreds of reincarnation until it completes its’ tasks.
There are 3 major ways a person can have memories of past lives. (And a few minor ways).
1. G.M.T. = Genetic Memory Transfer. (Memories pasted thru genetically)
2. P.I., E. = Personal Impressions, Electrical / Emotional.
Thoughts, actions, emotions that are given off by one or more people, then picked up minutes, days or years later by another person. (Astrology, location and the earth’s electric magnetic fields get into the act sometimes with PI, E)
3. Reincarnation = body dies, soul takes a break and critiques it’s experiences, gets back into a baby (at birth, with some exceptions) for another go-round, etc.
A few clients have had past live memories brought about by #1 & #2. A good regressionist can detect and uncover these.
Most lives are boring and short lived, until now? (Old use to be 25 or 35; a person 40 or 60 was ancient).
Death can occur seconds after the soul entered the body or many years later, something is going to be learned and experienced. There are “things” and a format or lesson plan that the soul is aware of and the soul will get these chores done, no matter how many lives it takes to complete certain tasks. There are no dropouts. Everyone will graduate.
Your life today has, and will have, choices that will enhance or retard your souls growth.
I don’t recommend getting a book on “how to zap yourself into past lives” or if you buddy got a book, “hypnotize the world in 3 easy lesions”, I’d say go to a movie or relax in a nice hot bath, you’d get more out of it. And you’d bypass the possibility of screwing up your mind with head-trips you can’t handle and your buddy doesn’t know what to do when you go ballistic cause he regressed you into a past life where the town folk just pulled you off the little boy you raped and killed, slit you stomach open and filled it with hot coals. (Yes, that was one of my clients regressed into a past life about 800 years ago) In other words, it would be wise not to do this without “adult supervision” or if you liked the movie, The Santa Clause “Elf supervision”. But if you decide to do it on your own, it’s a choice, and choices build perception. And I personally don’t think you’d void your spiritual, mental or psychical warranty.
One can dream of past lives, and I have been told that one can practice how to recall past lives.

Through regressions, one becomes aware that we are all performers. No good or bad guys, no accidents, and no mistake that is irrevocable. We will play all parts. There are no stunt doubles. We’re born and step onto the stage of live, death is our exit. We’re born again, but with a little more perception, and the play resumes

Actually I don't think that is correct, for we are in a new body and experience new things particular to the new entity.

Do you think Karma plays a part, ie: I was a louse in my last life so now I have an opportunity to change that, like a learning experience, so to speak?

Before I answer questions you have to know this up front. “I don’t know everything”.
If I did I wouldn’t be here, I’d be top side on higher plane.

A. Yes. It dose not happen often, but yes. Examples such as;
A soul from a higher level (Christ like in the sense of a teacher)
An agreement with another soul (I have no idea what the reason would be)
I’m sure there are other types of happening but my personal experience is zero.
My information is from others I respect who have worked and/or experience in past life information.
Q. Is there ever a case where no soul enters a newborn?
A. Yes again, but not often. When a new born has no brain. There are cases when the soul wanted to experience being enclosed in a living void, for the short time life would be there.

A. If there are unresolved lessons you signed up for and didn’t complete, yes.
Also dying from a bad heart or kidney in pasted lives can carry over. Especially if there were high emotions involved.
You could also have discomfort and pains that the doctors can’t locate or diagnose. This is a strong indicator it’s cause lies some where in one or more of ones past lives.
Another answer is. You got a faulty body, check your warrantee.

A. Correct, it’s a new body and new experiences. But the soul has quite a few miles on it and it brings all good, bad, ugly and beautiful along with a lesson plan it signed up for and a new series of soul characteristics that will play out to allow the soul growth to continue.

A. Karma is of key importance. There’s good and bad karma. Try to rack up as much good karma as possible, it makes forthcoming lives a little easier.

If it is indeed true that we come back and part of our existance will be based on former Karma, then I think my next life will be pretty good. I tend to lean toward the good Karma side in this life. As to having selected this particular life and it's experiences, well I will have to have a word with myself next go round. I would like to have a much more plesant childhood and a smoother young adult experience. As for my life now at age 50, it is all good.

To think that I actually planned to experience the things that I have, is quite remarkable. The fact that I have had many unfortunate experiences, only gives me more joy, for it is from this that I have found myself to be empathetic to my fellow beings. Sympathy is one thing, but empathy is very useful.

Can one have a past life regression done over the phone? I would think it is possible if one could wear a headset or perhaps use the speaker phone option and hear the voice of the one conducting it. What do you think?

If the soul knows where it has been and we can retreive that through past life regression, then does the soul know where it is going? I mean have you ever thought of connecting with the soul to see what it has learned and what it's future plans are for it's next incarnation? Now that would be very very deep! I wonder if it could be done? Or is the soul only aware of its present existance, and with help, it's past? Do you follow me? If the soul is aware that it " Is" then what's to say that it might not be thinking of it's future at the same time, although very deep in the "mind "of the host body?

This might be a whole new field. As the soul is learning and gaining life lessons, it might also be processing that info at the same time with a thought of what might come next. Gee I wonder? What do you think, Lou?

The reason I ask is that sometimes as I look out through the windows we call eyes, I am most acutely aware that I am a soul within this host body. I know that this body is not me, not my essence. I hope you understand what I mean.

Q. Lou, what is your personal experience with all of this?
A. ( lets do a condensed version) Viewed/explored over 40 of my past lives. Regressed between 500 and 700 subjects.(didn’t kept track of the first 5 or 6 years. Now I don’t. Subject keeps tapes). Some wanted to know about their past lives. Other wanted PLT, past life therapy, to correct a fault or problem that was generated in an earlier life(s). Others wanted to see what it was like to be regressed, period, no thoughts, just wanted to do it.

A. YES
Q. and if so being, why?
A. Beats me, why does one believe the way one does?

Q. What was it in your life that drew you to this way?
A. I have no idea. Life happens.
