Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm being baptized tomorrow. I sorta nervous about it, not sure why. Maybe because I dislike having an audience.

Being re-baptized is on my "bucket list", and one of those things I've contemplated doing for a long time. But my Patron called me to do it, so I am.

I pray for His guidance, peace, and presence during this important time.

Mind if I ask what sect? I'm guessing it is an evangelical group, since most traditional Christian groups recognize only "one baptism".

Pentecostal. Yes, it's evangelical.

I was baptized today and it was great! Nothing to be nervous about. The water was warm and nice to be in. The people around me were singing when I came out of the water. So it was a pleasant crowd and not a bad audience at all.

I'm glad that I've answered God's call to be rebaptized. Another lady who goes to my church, after congratulating me, told me to be watchful and expect God to work in my life...to expect things to change.

Maybe they will. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm thankful I found them...I know it wasn't chance that I found this church. I figure I was led to find it.

Congratulations! I belonged to a small church when I was a kid and it was great. The congregation was always there for each other. I hope you experience the same thing.
