Deeds of Kindness

Quote:
Deeds of kindness are equal in weight to all the commandments. The Talmud

Do you agree?

Cross I don't think deeds of kindness hurts anything;

However in some religious things I have seen things that kinda shocked me. When it said you should not be nice to, or have anything to do whatever with the person who was against your religion. I forgot which religion it was in, but it was an eye opener for me. I know I should have remembered what I'm speaking of, but my memory always fails me at times.

I have always thought that God wanted us all, everyone, to be good to each other and do good deeds for each other if we could.

" Deeds of kindness are equal in weight to all the commandments. The Talmud "

" Thou shalt not kill " vs " Be kind " .

There seems to be a difference . You can be kind and kill someone and kill someone and be kind such as telling your casualty to " have a nice day" as you stab him to death ,ouch .

Thou shalt not " have sexual relations" with thy neighbours wife " but do be kind to her" is added .

" I am the Lord Thy God thou shalt not have strange Gods before me ", is a tough one when you add, and " be kind to all Gods "

The truth lies in wording as in the 'whole picture' we have both but individually they seem individual .
Such as ,,"we live in a Country and we live in a City too ".
