LOL O.K. Cardero which Truth are YOU talking about? Which one is eligible in your opinion for certainty? I too believe there is only one Truth, but many different definitions of Truth, as we can see here on the forum.
I have come to understand and experience that the Truth, which I believe Jesus talked about, will set humans free from suffering, maybe that is what people fear. 1) We have become accustumed to suffering and have accepted suffering as a natural part of everyday life. 2) We fear change, even for the better 3) We don't feel deserving of the fruits of spirit: Love, Peace and Joy. I believe suffering is totally unnecessary and I will never accept suffering of any kind as "good".

Dear Cardero,
Your post sounds like you don't beleive there is a God and that your belief is the only one based on the Truth!?! There is a God LOL I know for sure. LOL And that is the Truth! LOL Do you see what I mean? Besides I don't think morals have anything to do with believing in a God as E.H. already clarified. The question then is how did a belief in a God come about? When we look in this world today we see some have and some don't. I think that we have always had or we did not. What made the difference. I think that is what people are trying to figure out. Visualize this: There was a small group of "primitive" people, fresh on earth. There were two male friends, identical to each other, both had a women and children. Each day they went out to hunt for food, one caught and the other one didn't. This went on and on. Soon the one that never caught noticed that his wife was cheating on him. Talking to his friend he started to wonder why his friend had a lot of good things in his life and he didn't. He thought there must be a reason. Was it luck? What is luck? Is it magic? Is it fair? Wola....we have a God. We are still trying to figure out why one has and one doesn't. Maybe we need to pray, no it's meditation, no, it's graditude, no it's this no, it's that. But when you look at nature you can see that everything flows, without "them" doing anything. Could it be so simple that we missed it completely? As long as we think we need to do anything in order to be ...we are not. It is the focus of our attention that we give our all to. This can be in the negative as well as in the positive or we can simply be....beingness. Sorry, I think I got a little carried away there. LOL

I'm not to sure that everyone in the world could do without their own certain thoughts of God. I mean, the world might not even be that much better without the thought of God. I could even be worser. Some people are just so anxious to blam all of the worlds problems on God, so therefor they think it would be better to get rid of the thought of God.
Well, ok, I'll give you another idea. All of the problems in the world have been done by men, mostly. So why don't we just get all of the men out of power and put all women in power. Men haven't done nothing but mess up our world as seen since the first days they started gathering to make war and concure, up until the present day of the year 2007 in which they are still making war and going throught the motions to concure. ![]()
