Fading Televangelists

Jerry Falwell is gone. Billy Graham, Pat Robertson, Oral Roberts are all well along in years. What effect do you think their passing will have? Other than Franklin Graham do you see any replacements for these men?

Yes but I am going to need a little more time.

I think you will see more churches going online vs TV.

Right now lifechurch.tv, has online services and even does stuff in myspace and in secondlife they have a simulated church.

When you think about it, it seems like a natural progression except what are we going to do about all those churches?

Some people have considered this forum a church.

If this forum is a church, I don't mind going : )

To Cardero: We could always give the churches back to the community!?!

I see in the future drive through churches for the busy ones and more one on ones/spiritual counseling for the individual. I think so many feel betrayed by churches and are afraid to commit to becoming a member of anything. I think the individual will in the future do more researching/seeking/asking on their own. And that's a good thing.

I can envision online interactive churches. The words to hymns would be on the screen like karaoke. If he minister called for member interaction a member could pose a question and be heard by everyone else.
