Spiritual Terrorist

I saw the term "Spiritual Terrorist" today. A Christian was maintaining that Spiritual Terrorists were at work in the Christian church and were deceiving Christians. I think this person consider the DaVinci Code as spiritual terrorism.

Has anyone heard of spiritual terrorism or have any comments about it?

Deception can indeed hurt people, but overall I think that cultivating a fearful mindset in believers has the potential to be more terroristic. It's hard to live a fulfilling life when you're scared.

DaVinci Code l must admit l do not know what it is .Spiritual Terrorists when l think of it reminds me of what Christian Minister Bob Larsen stated that there are aliens and they are "demon" and have space craft and stuff like that . Him and many Christians believe that if you are not a Christian after you have been told of Jesus and the way to become re-born through Jesus then basically you are not a demon but are heading to "demon land" after you die .

Many Ministers in Christian congregations feel that they never really know who is sincere and who is a hypocritical liar in their faith or is a "spritual terrorist" .

Some feel that even well respected Ministers are in a big plot by Satan and are Satan's demons and Satan's spiritual terrorists .

These spirirtual terrorists l assume are relevent to the belief concept of that Religion . Such as another non -Christian Religion may not agree with Bob Larsen that demons fly spaceships such as UFO's yet in their faith they may have spiritual terrorists too but relevent to their belief .

I have never heard of spritual terrorist but in some systems it could mean another thing such as " Psychic Vampire" as another aspect of "spritual terrorists.

Considering the DaVinci Code , which is an excellent book and which is clearly a work of fiction as stated by the author, spiritual terrorism, smacks of idiocy and nonsense.

Lots of people believe lots of things, some of which seem more or less sensible than others, depending on who is evaluating.

It is not unnatural, however, for people who honestly believe something to be true to attempt to convince others of it, especially if they believe that it is important to the other person's well-being. That's not spiritual terrorism, it's prosyletization.

However, there are those who will deliberately try and convince people of something (in which they might not even believe themselves) in order to achieve some kind of benefit, likely wealth, power or influence. And the sad fact is that there is a world full of the gullible, looking desperately for some way to make sense out the problems of life, who will be taken in by them. This is getting closer to a kind of spiritual terrorism, but unfortunately it already has its own name: charlatanism.
