Smiling is very important. If we are not able to smile, then the world will not have peace. It is not by going out for a demonstration against nuclear missiles that we can bring about peace. It is with our capacity of smiling, breathing, and being peace that we can make peace.
---Thich Nhat Hanh If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work. ---Thich Nhat Hanh It is remarkable that Krishna, whom the Hindus worship as God himself, is always shown to be with a gentle and mischievious smile. The Buddha too is shown to be smiling. Perhaps there is an inherent message in this, as taught by Thich Nhat Hanh. A smile indeed costs nothing , but gains a lot. ![]()

I believe that the simple act of smiling can make someone's day. It costs nothing to give away, and you get much back in return. It is great exercise for your facial muscles. And those smile lines that everyone is worried about are not wrinkles but a badge of honor for trying to spread love and happiness where ever you go.
