In the New Testament, grace is defined as, 'the unmerited and abundant gift of God's love and favor to man.'
Which holds true even to this day. After all, when one dedicates one's life to Jesus, one in turn earns God's favor, or grace. It's by grace one receives salvation (Ephesians 2:5). 1 Peter 5:10 "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." God's grace is "open" for all makind to experience, should they wish to. |
