Are Atheists More Successful?

Are Atheists more successful in life than theists? I constantly hear atheists comment that they think their way if life is more real and normal. Do we have any facts to show that Atheists handle life better than a theist?

I don't think life being more meaningful, or handled better, has correllation with theism or lack thereof. It all depends on one's definition of "success" and how they deal with it. If success to you means total devotion to god, then you have been successful. If success to you has nothing to do with religion, but simply working hard, and providing for you family, than you are successfull. It has nothing to do with what you believe.

What sort of sucess do you mean LK? I think all folks have sucesses in different areas of life some give the glory for what they have to God (such as me) and some deem sucess was through themselves. I just don't think a lack of belief in God means sucessful life. JMPO

I think many of them say that out of a real or imaginery need to justify their atheism to friends and/or relatives.

Different people define success differently, so there really is no basis for comparison to say one person is more successful than another unless we limit the criteria.

I don't feel any need to justify my atheism to anyone. And I do not consider it any more or any less normal/real than anyone else's beliefs.
