To repent whether religiously or otherwise is the act of seeing the error of ones ways and deciding it's better to change them. It's also part of being a person who cares about your inner self. When you do things that are hurtful and wrong it makes you feel like crap inside so repenting is a real good way of saying "Stop, This is not for the good!" At least that's my take on it. ![]()
