I cannot think of one Truth that religion expresses that cannot be found, understood and practiced today by any human of any culture, creed or gender who has the desire to seek and learn Truth.

I don't know what you mean by making men true. I only know of one true man though I know there must have been others. I define a true man as one who is master of himself. This means he has acquired consciousness and will.

... since that was in quotes, that you are, in fact, quoting someone? If so, who? I can;t say I recognize the quote.

As for thoughts... well, on one level I find it true, enough. But on another, it strikes me as one of those formulas that is jusr vague enough to pass for profound, while leaving so much unsaid that it really doesn't tell us anything.

There is much wisdom in Islam we may benefit from.
No proof is necessary to accept and practice a core belief! Only Faith! Religion is a manifestation of our need to connect! Be a part of some power greater than our own! Our free will created the necessity of believing in a "fall back" position when all else failed.

God, the Creator of all that IS, did not bring religion into manifestation but allowed man to co-create a measurable reason for his spiritual advancement.
