Do We Want To Make Religion Small?

Quote:
We want to make religion as small as ourselves; just as we have made our homes as ugly as ourselves.

Is this true? Do we want to keep ourselves small?

It's not that we want to but just the natural result of living within the limited perspective of Plato's cave and allowing our imagination to justify it.

One's opinion of oneself is a personnal and limited view. It would appear this particular follower or Allah is not a happy person.

It holds no reference to a Creator or Oneness with ALL that is. Again, as I have stated before, there is NO wrong way to the Truth and enlightenment. We have all confronted and moved beyond ideologies exactly like those of this believer. Our reason for being is to sacrifice our free will to God's Will and allow God to manifest His unconditional love through us to all we come into contact with.

All other's opinions and core belief systems are exactly where they are supposed to be at their point on their path. We are not here to judge!!!

I don't know how happy he is ww, but he does understand a few things. He wrote:

How many understand how true that is?

I don't think "small" would be the correct word to use here. One needs only to interact with a religious person to realize that it is not necessarily GOD that they want to make bigger than life but it is their organization that they wish to super-size too. Most religious people will try to display an illusion of "lowly-ness" but when it comes to another person determining to convert or dedicate themself to their religion, well they can convince this person has just made the most enormous decision of their life.
