I saw this statement today. What would you tell this person?

I would first ask: Why? And then maybe: Does that belief serve you?

I wouldn't tell them anything but instead try to clarify what they mean.

If someone shared that feeling with me, I might ask; "what has changed tp make you feel guilty of something?" Guilt is what keeps fear alive. I could add; "There is no place for fear where unconditional ove abides."

Fear of God could be I think like being in awe of the Ineffable...as this definition has it:

"Extreme reverence or awe, as toward a Supreme Power."

not necessarily fear of say hell or brimstone.

I would ask them why they feel the need to fear something which loves them unconditionally.
