I'm pretty sure I don't understand the question. The Pope, currently Benedict XVI, is the real former Cardinal Josef Ratzinger, once Cardinal Prefect for the Doctrine of the Faith (which used to be called "the Holy Office" or better known as "The Inquisition")

In my opinion, he is a retrograde step in the march toward the future, but John Paul II appointed a horrendous number of very conservative cardinals, so it's not a surprise. Like Bush stacking the Supreme Court with conservative justices, it's going to take some time before human values have pride of place again.

I have no idea what you are really asking? I assume that Ratzinger, who became Pope, shaves and eats and goes to the bathroom like a lot of other people in the world so I guess the Pope is a real person.

That made me wonder if the Pope had a Press confrence tomorrow and stated,,,

" God spoke with me yesterday",,,

I wonder how many people would actually believe that God did in fact speak to the Pope yesterday .

It seems if there is anyone God might speak to it is the Pope, right?

Okay so the Pope tells us God spoke with him and we assume it must be true because surely the Pope wouldn't fib like that .

Does anyone know if a Pope recently stated that God spoke to him ?
